How To Create A Slide Show

1)  All images must have the same width.  The height can be different, although if you're framing your slide show it's best if the images are all the same size.

2)  Create a positioned container and set the horizontal and vertical size to be "same as largest contained image" .. unless you want to specify a certain size yourself.

3)  If all your slides are going to be in one location on your Master Scrippy, you only need to insert one Positioned Container.  If you want more than one slide show, then you'll need mulitiple containers on the Master Scrippy for each slide show.

4)  Next, insert a Top Border Scroll into the Positioned Container for each slide you want to display, selecting a different picture for each top border scroll.  Make sure that under Advance Options for each scroll you check the box that says "Overlap With Next Object".

5)  In the Advanced Options box for each top scroll you will need to enter a value in the SPACE BETWEEN box.  To obtain this number, multiply the width by the number of pictures you're using minus 1.    For example .. if the images are 300 pixels wide and there are 3 of them, then use  300 (width) X 2 (3 pictures minus 1)  = 600.  Enter this number in each scroll's space between box.

6) In the advanced options box for each of the Top Border Scrolls, you will need to enter a value in the STARTING POSITION.  That number starts out at zero for the first scroll and increases by multiples of the width of your graphic for all the other scrolls.  For example ... if you have 3 slides that are 300 pixels wide ... for the first slide enter 0 in the starting position, for the next slide enter 300 (300 x 1), and for the third slide enter 600 (300 X 2) , and so on.

7) In the advanced options box for each Top Border Scroll, enter the image width in the PIXELS PER MOVE box.

8)  Decide how long do you want each image to be displayed .. the divide the width by the number of seconds you want each slide to display.    For example,  if your graphic is 300 pixels wide and you want each one displayed for 3 seconds, then take 300 divided by 3 = 100.   Enter that number in each of the top border scroll's PIXELS PER SECOND box.  Exact precision here is not necessary, you can increase or decrease this number as needed.

TIP - If your slides do not play in the order you entered them, then change the scroll direction from right to left, or from left to right.  That usually fixes the problem.
