Believe it or not, this is the same basic SSC as Example 4, only with NO math on the scrolling backgrounds!! :O)) Most of this effect is created with the graphic designs. The only thing really new on this one is the addition of 2 slide shows, one for the changing background colors, and one for changing the center graphic from a circle to a square.
Here are the two graphics I started out with. It's important that your original graphic size be an even number that can be divided equally. I started out with a blank 300 x 300 to create these graphics. Then as shown by the green lines, I simply cut them in half, both directions, and then saved each part as a transparent graphic.
Inside graphics
Outside graphics
With the graphics now created, the first thing I did was insert a positioned container 300x300 pixels in size, and 20 pixels from the top. I'm going to put everything inside that container. The reason I do this is because if I want to reposition the graphics on my main Scrippy, it's much easier to move one container, than all the individual ones.
Next, I inserted 4 positioned containers into my Scrippy and then inserted 2 scrolling backgrounds into each container .. one for the inside square and one for the outside square of each graphic location. For example, the first container has a background scroll for the inside top left graphic and the outside top left graphic.
The top backgrounds in each container are for the inside graphics, and the bottom backgrounds in each container are for the outside graphics. There's no need to enter any math in the Advanced Options for any of the 8 graphics, they simply follow one another. Please review the buttons to see the scrolling direction for each graphic.
After I created this part, I decided to have the background behind the graphics change colors. To do this, I entered 2 top border scrolls for a slide show at the very top of the main positioned container, so the colors would be behind the scrolling graphics. See my tutorial on creating slide shows for instructions on the settings needed, or you can click on the buttons to see the numbers used based on the width of the graphic.
Finally I decided to add a stationary image in the center of the graphics and I wanted it to change shapes between a square and a circle. So, right below the top border scrolls for the background colors slide show, I added a new positioned container to hold the slide show for these graphics. Remember, Scrippy displays things in the order that you have them entered on your control panel. So I wanted the colors first, the 2 graphics on top of the colors next, and then all the scrolling graphics on top of everything else.
